Sustainable Trails Ltd. plans, designs, constructs and maintains sustainable multi-use, hiking, mountain biking, equestrian and ATV trail systems using both mechanized equipment and hand finishing techniques.

Richard and Bill Goulding have brought a combined 55 years of commercial and industrial construction experience to their trail building business.

As trail builders, they have worked for a varied list of clients - The Township of King, Blue Mountain Resort, The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, IMBA, the International Mountain Biking Association, Toronto Parks and Recreation, Kawartha Conservation, as well as private individuals.

Their trail building teams use customized mini-excavators and walk-behind tracked loaders to shape the trail contours, then finish the trail with specialty handtools.

As well as providing a full-service solution for trail construction, Sustainable Trails also offers 'hybrid' solutions where their machines can assist volunteer hand-finishing crews.

Sustainable Trails Ltd. is Canada's first mechanized trailbuilder resistered with the Professional Trailbuilders Association.
