Trail Equipment

Whether the task calls for narrow purpose built single track, a wider multi use trail tread or hardened surface trail, we have equipped our fleet of trail building equipment to handle all types of trail projects. Our staff has had a great deal of experience with many different types of trail building equipment, constructing in all types of terrain.

From the rain forest mountains of Jamaica, the arid deserts of Mexico, to the hardwood forests of Ontario, we have altered the manufacturers’ equipment to suit the local conditions.

Our basic tools are the hand McLeod and Pulaski, used to construct intimate single track and to finish all types of trails.

To construct  a bench cut trail we have utilized either micro or mini excavators, along with a trail dozer depending on the design requirements for the various user groups.

We have in our arsenal tracked carriers that are used to move soil or hardening materials along the trail corridor. When it comes to specialized conditions such as rock breaking we employ a hydraulic rock breaker attached to our mini excavator
